

Grupo Cadarso is a family company founded in 1948 by Mr. Antonio Cadarso, which started mainly distributing watches and jewellery. Currently, the company has over 450 employees and is divided into two main business sectors, Watchmaking and Hospitality.

Grupo Cadarso’s watch sector is made up of 6 different companies operating in 3 countries. GERESA, the oldest company, was founded in 1974 for the distribution of the Japanese Seiko Watch Corporation group brands. Currently, it distributes 22 watch and jewellery brands in Spain, two of them being the group’s own brands. ARMETISA is the second oldest company in the group, founded in 1994 for the distribution of the Andorran area group brands. The first time the group entered the Portugese market was through the acquisition of CERTORA in 2008. Currently, it distributes more than 8 group brands in said market. And finally, the most recent additions to the group have been EUROCRONO, acquired in 2016 and EUROCRONO Portugal, founded in the same year for the distribution of internationally recognised brands, such as Guess.

RELUSA is founded (Relojería de Lujo S.A.). Distribution of the luxury Swiss Patek Philippe brand.

INTERSA is founded (Internacional de relojería S.A.). Distribution of the Longines, Radiant and Blumar brands.
1974
GERESA is founded (General de relojería S.A.). Distribution of the Seiko Watch Corporation group brands: Seiko, Pulsar, Lorus and Seiko Clocks.
1994
ARMETISA is founded (Arte y medida del tiempo S.A.) for the distribution of the Andorra group brands.
1996-2004
INTERSA acquires the distribution of the luxury Swiss IWC brand.
1998-2003
INTERSA acquires the distribution of the luxury Swiss Zenith brand.
1999-2008
GERESA acquires the distribution of NIKE watches.
2000-2015
Creation of the Joint Venture Fossil Ltd. Distribution of the fashion licences EMPORIO ARMANI, DKNY, DIESEL, FOSSIL and MICHAEL KORS.
2002-2013
INTERSA acquires the distribution of the brands Breil and D&G. In 2006 the Joint Venture Binda Iberia is created, which is responsible for the distribution of these brands until 2010.
2004-2011
INTERSA acquires the V&L licence for the manufacture and distribution of watches and jewellery.
2007-2014
INTERSA acquires the licence for the manufacture and distribution of CUSTO watches.
2008
Creation of the Joint Venture TOUS WATCHES, for the design, manufacture and distribution of the brand’s watches.
2008
Acquisition of CERTORA. Distribution of the Portugal group brands.
2011
Watx own brand launch. Distributed by Geresa and Certora.
2012
The company Tous Watches acquires the distribution of the Swiss Victorinox brand.
2012-2015
Creation of the Joint Venture ICE IBERIAN MARKETS for the distribution of the Belgian Ice-Watch brand. Currently the brand is distributed by Geresa and Certora.
2013
GERESA acquires NIXON distribution.
2014-2017
Creation of the Joint Venture MORELLATO ESPAÑA. Distribution of the MORELLATO, GIOIELLI, MASERATI, POLICE and MORELLATO CINTURINI brands. Currently distributed by GERESA and EUROCRONO PORTUGAL. In 2019 it’s included in the Petit Storie brand’s portfolio.
2014
GERESA acquires the distribution of the TIMBERLAND watches. Currently distributed by EUROCRONO and ARMETISA.
2016
Acquisition of the company EUROCRONO for the distribution of GUESS, GC and SUPERDRY brands in Spain and Portugal.
2017
GERESA acquires the distribution of the WELDER brand.
2018
Grupo Cadarso acquires the distribution of the JASON HYDE and ROSEFIELD brands, which are distributed through EUROCRONO, the watch brand MAM, through Tous Watches, and the KARL LAGERFELD and ADORE jewellery brands, through Geresa.
2019
GERESA acquires Mr.Wonderful’s licence for design, manufacture and distribution in the watches and costume jewellery sector.
